Safety First

We bring the finest in amusement rides. Our equipment is in top condition and has been approved by the State of Michigan and other states around the country.

In order to keep every child safe, Playworld strictly adheres to manufacturer and state height restrictions. Each ride has a height stick showing minimum height requirements. We suggest checking our signs before ticket purchases. These rules are for your child's safety.

Our attraction safety record is unparalleled. We are in very good standing with the State of Michigan and many other states around the country. Not only do we pass our state inspections with flying colors throughout our work season, but also have hired an additional company to do ride inspections that prove we meet the standards throughout the country. As for our own personal inspections, each ride is inspected and tested before opening to the public every day. Additional checks are done by the operators throughout the day. Your business is only as good as your reputation so we are very strict in this area.

Signs approved by the National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) are posted on all the rides and all cables are covered up in "Yellow Jackets" designed specially for Playworld Amusements. In winter, when fair season is over, all rides are returned and maintained in warehouses across Alma, MI. All of our rides are evaluated, serviced and repaired during our off season which runs from mid November through February.

As the rides are used vigorously throughout the year, in the unlikely event of a breakdown, we have a workshop truck and a maintenance staff with us on the road throughout the year to be able to repair most any problem which may occur.
